Skyline Children’s Ministry SUMMERTIME UPDATE:
Due to Covid-19 restrictions and rules regarding gatherings and social distancing (especially in regards to children’s events), we are unable to have Vacation Bible School. As sad as this is, I’m determined to make the best of it and will be offering some family fun days for Skyline families that have children entering 1st through entering 5th grade. This will take place at an outside location with the place and dates to be determined. Families will pick one of the days offered, register the children in their family grades entering 1st through entering 5th grade, and then the whole family can come join the FUN!
It is impossible to predict what the attendance limit will be on the dates the events take place, so I will adjust as needed. Preference will be given to families/children who were regular attenders at Skyline when the quarantine began and then others will be considered as space allows (I can’t believe I even have to say that!). This will be a family fun event that will include a Bible lesson, music, outdoor water fun, snacks, and crafts….
….Sort of an “old- fashioned church picnic feel” with a VBS-fun-twist mixed in.
MORE DETAILS TO COME!
Also be watching for children’s ministry drive-thru activities during the week at Skyline.
Praying for you all and trusting God has got “the whole world in his hands.”
With joy, Miss Loy

At Roar, kids explore God’s goodness and celebrate a ferocious faith that powers them through this wild life. This epic African adventure engages the whole herd. Each day at ROAR we will learn that God is good when life is: Unfair, Scary, Changing, Sad, or Good. Join us for wild assemblies, jungle games, roaring-belly snacks, survival Bible lessons, and safari crafts – all of the things that make VBS so much fun!
Children should wear closed-toed shoes. Play clothes are best since your child might get wet during game time and will be using paints during craft time.
Monday, June 24 – Thurs. June 27, 2019 9:00 a.m. to Noon
Open to children 3 years old (potty-trained) through entering 5th grade.
