 One of the amazing truths found in sacred Scripture is God’s abundant generosity.  He is neither stingy nor indigent toward those He saves.  God never withholds that which we need for salvation, and His salvific blessings are never in short supply (or “out-of-stock”). No one is “barely saved.”  God does not even give us one portion of His grace for every one portion of our sin.  Those whom God saves are saved without merit and without measure.
