For several weeks now, we have been studying some of the main truths found in the book of “1 John.” These are certainties that we must believe and by which we must live.
For several weeks now, we have been studying some of the main truths found in the book of “1 John.” These are certainties that we must believe and by which we must live.
1. We need to know that Jesus Christ is the incarnate, one and only, Son of God.
2. We need to know that all humans are sinful and depraved.
3. We need to know that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins.
4. We need to know that salvation (God’s forgiveness) comes only through faith in Jesus Christ.
5. We need to know that rejecting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is a rejection of God.
6. We need to know that those who truly love God seek to obey the commands of God.
7. We need to know that false teachers will attempt to deceive Christians.
