 Some of my favorite books to read are Christian biographies (especially of pastors, preachers and missionaries).  I find their stories encouraging, but also vitally convicting. When I read of the great things they have done, it inspires and challenges me; when I read of the weaknesses they struggled with, it humbly encourages me.  Some time ago, I read the book by Warren Wiersbe titled Listening to the Giants.  It is a collection of short, but powerful, biographical accounts of faithful pastors and preachers.
