 In my last couple devotionals, I identified many of the excuses Christians use as to why they don’t pray.  Each one has an inherently unbiblical component to it.  That is, the “excuse” is teetering on a false perspective of the nature and character of God, or the biblical doctrine of prayer (or both).  Fortunately, God’s Word is neither silent nor vague on the importance of prayer (there are literally hundreds of prayers recorded in the Bible, and dozens of commands to pray).  Over the next couple of weeks, I want to look at some of the Biblical reasons to pray.
