Last week we began looking at J.C. Ryle’s practical guidelines for Bible reading.  While these may not be revolutionary, they are all incredibly important to know and incredibly easy to forget.  If we are not careful, Bible reading can be reduced to a religious chore or mindless exercise.  If the devil cannot get us to stop reading the Bible, he will certainly tempt us to read it wrongly.
